Steve Carmichael joins Lofthouse as Commercial Director

We are pleased to announce that Steve Carmichael has agreed to join our talented management team as Commercial Director.

Steve began his career at Lovell Homes as a trainee Quantity Surveyor and thereafter continued in the construction industry specialising in residential development. In 2017 he joined the senior management team at renowned executive house builder Millgate Homes moving on to become a partner at Quantum Merit Associates.

Strategic Director Paul Beaney said " I have been fortunate to work with a lot of talented people in my time in the industry. Having employed Steve while Managing Director of Millgate Homes, I experienced first-hand his strong team leadership, commercial negotiating and managerial skills. I was very keen to get him on board as I believe he embodies our maxim of; building extraordinary everyday"

Steve has accumulated a wealth of experience in every aspect of the built environment. From acquisition to completion his role encompasses, land purchase appraisals, planning, surveying, health & safety, quality control, cost reporting and risk management.

In the last 2 years I have worked as a consultant for Lofthouse Residencies, In that time I have watched David take the the time to build a fantastic team of people, each of whom are experienced specialists in their own fields and all of whom I can respect.
